Under her name, she contributed a chapter to "Chicken Soup for the Soul: "The Forgiveness Fix" and authored "More Than Homeless: A Story of Walking In Faith After Losing Everything."

Under her former pen name of "Daniella Nicole," Kara contributed a chapter to "Meeting Your Match Online" and authored "Quicklet on Mark R. Levin's Ameritopia."

In addition, Kara ghostwrote 6 books about alternative health and medicine.

Her education includes finance, housing and consumer issues, journalism, and health/nutrition. 

Kara has a Master Certification in English Vocabulary. 

She has taken various medical courses and has held various medical certifications.

Kara has worked at the front desk (reception) of a medical practice.

She is a C.E.R.T. graduate and has been a volunteer, helping train others.

She has also worked at the gyms of two different military bases, with both civilian and military patrons.

Kara created and narrated two segments of an online course regarding Money Management and Student Financial Aid for a university.

She has taught various money management, budgeting, and financial software courses to college students, university staff, and the public at large.

Kara has been a radio talk show guest on news and political topics and a public speaker on various financial topics.

Within six months of beginning a blog for a talk radio show, the blog was syndicated.

She has written in multiple genres and covered a plethora of topic categories including, but not limited to pets & animals, dating & relationships, children & parenting, food & cooking, how-to's, technology, money & finance, health & medicine, human interest, and news & politics.

The latter two topic categories making up the majority of her work.

Kara has produced multiple articles that garnered 1-2+ million views, have been shared by celebrities, and have achieved top ranking positions in-house and on Google.

At more than one company, Kara's work has been selected by partner companies to be used on their websites. In each case, she was the only writer whose work was selected, or among the very few.

Additionally,  when approaching bosses for guidance after being requested to guest speak for various entities or be a guest on various talk radio shows, Kara was told she was the first or only person working there that had ever happened to.

The feisty, curvy, green-eyed brunette is 5'10" in her boots and an admitted news junkie.

Kara has been a volunteer at an animal shelter, helping care for the cats and dogs, as well as doing office work. She was a favorite of the "difficult" and "unadoptable" critters.

She also organized and ran a six-month effort, eventually enlisting aid from various businesses, community members, and others, to help a local family in desperate need.

And when a local organization failed to arrange deliveries to Christmas aid recipients, Kara used her Christmas Eve and the next few days making sure every family across the county got their gift boxes, plus some extras. This included singing a Christmas carol to recipients and playing a "Santa's Helper" for children of recipients.
